The apple of his eye

As Adeline gets older (10 months tomorrow!) her personality really shines, and in turn, her Daddy falls more and more in love with her. Over the break, John got to spend so much time with us and the two became the best of buddies. Now it seems she might just prefer him over me. When he comes home she stops whatever she is doing and greets him with a big screaming smile as he walks through the door. She loves her Daddy, and he loves her.

She already has her Daddy's sense of adventure!

They both like bowling (and kool-aid!)
She even makes faces, just like him. I think this one is called the "Fawny Face."

She truly is the apple of her Daddy's eye.

Christmas Everyday!

sarahfletcherphotography.com

Christmas everyday. That's sure what it felt like over the break. As soon as John finished up his finals we celebrated Christmas here in Charlottesville as a small family, then on to Maryland to celebrate with the Laumanns, Carvers, Hardings, Hunters, and Knapps! Phew... that's a lot of Christmases (6 if you lost count). But we were happy to get to see everyone and they were mostly just happy to see Addie. Adeline's first Christmas was a success. She did figure out how to unwrap presents, although she was usually more excited about the paper than what was inside. Here's a little photo journal of our break.

Early Christmas morning we got to skype with Uncle Mikey who is serving a mission
in Africa. This was Addie's first time meeting him!

Dun duh duh.....Standing by herself for the first time!

We loved spending time with friends and family, but are also glad to be back home in Charlottesville. We can't believe how fast time has flown, but we are ready to see what the new year has in store for our family!
